The linuX-gamers project has announced the first public release of its gaming live DVD. Based on Arch Linux, this 2.4 GB bootable medium contains both the NVIDIA and ATI proprietary Linux drivers and includes the following 3D games: BzFLag, Enemy Territory, Glest, Nexuiz, Sauerbraten, Torcs, Tremulous, True Combat: Elite, Warsow and World of Padman. This is a development build on the way to the 1.0 release. Users are encouraged to test the live DVD and provide suggestions for 1.0

Voici une fonction pour le moins intéressante ajouter à Google Maps qui permet d’avoir à partir de plusieurs cliché photo un aperçu en 3 dimensions de l’endroit. Encore en version Bêta il n’est disponible que pour certaines villes aux Etats Unis.

Trying to connect to your favorite Website without success? Use DOS to trace your request across the World Wide Web:
1. Go to the DOS Prompt (Start > Run, type cmd and press ENTER)
2. Type tracert www.site-name.com (e.g tracert www.jaspari.info) and press ENTER

Thanks to the recent run-up in gas prices, our email accounts have become cluttered with chain emails asking us to boycott major gas stations on a certain date in the future in an attempt to "cripple" Big Oil. This is a ridiculous idea and anyone with a quasi-functional brain knows it won't work.
