When it comes to search engine rankings, we all know that one of the major search engine ranking factors is how many links you have to your website. Especially text links that include the keywords your trying to rank for in the anchor text. So, if you want to rank well for “red widgets”, then having lots of links with “red widgets” in the anchor text pointing to your site will help your search engine rankings. It helps so much that many site owners have bought text links to their website. So, why would you want to remove paid links to your website? Especially if those paid links are helping your website’s organic, or natural search engine rankings?

Google to Retire Hosted Domains Product within AdSense

Google has decided to retire the “hosted domains” product that they have through the Google AdSense program. According to an email directly from the Google AdSense team, they have evaluated the benefits of their partner network and decided to retire the Hosted Domains program with Google AdSense.

Whitney Houston Cause of Death

On February 11, 2012, Houston was found dead at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, in Beverly Hills, California, of causes not immediately known. Beverly Hills paramedics found the singer unresponsive and performed CPR for about 20 minutes before declaring her dead at 3:55 p.m. PST According to TMZ, Houston had been removed from a bathtub before the emergency medical technicians arrived. Local police said there were “no obvious signs of criminal intent”.
