Alexa is suing Ron Hornbaker, the independent developer of Statsaholic, a popular service that allowed you to compare different sites based on their Alexa rankings. Damages may amount to hundreds of thousands of dollars, essentially “suing him into oblivion”, according to ZDNet. We think the lawsuit is ridiculous and could be settled without going to court. Comcast has announced that it will acquire movie site Fandango, as well as launch a new entertainment site aimed and helping manage its entertainment experience across different devices and channels. The movie site Fandango's acquisition will become a source for the new site, called Fancast.com.
