To keep up with many users lives, Google has speeded up the counter. Current storage is just under 3 gigabytes now. The rate is increasing at a rate of about one gigabyte per month.

Microsoft is trying (and failing) to try to get as far away from GPLv3 as they can. It looked like GPLv3 is working after all, and that Novell really was doing the whole Open Source community a favor by signing that deal with Microsoft.
