Creating A DNS Cache With djbdns
4 / 0
http://www.howtoforge.com/dns_cache_with_djbdns
Building a local DNS cache will speed up your internet connection since the time for the translation job (converting domain names into IP addresses) will become negligible with the assumption that the DNS cache gets the information from the parent DNS. Join discussion...

Microsoft Silverlight: Flash killer ?
27 / 0
http://arstechnica.com/news.ars/post/20070501-microsofts-fla...
Alright, i was at Mix07 yesterday and i was blown away with silverlight. Finally i can ditch my flash development and really get into the programing that im accoustomed to, microsoft way. Im a .net developer and coding for silverlight "just makes sense" to me. BUT i won't fully ditch flash. It has many features that silverlight wont have on launch, but for the most part it will suffice for my clients! Great job Microsoft! Join discussion...

What does Web 2.0 owe Peter Drucker?

http://skonkwerks.net/facibusreviews/index.php/2007/04/23/wh...
Steve Collins is not sure who Peter Drucker was. When I think about it, there are probably a lot of Web 2.0 advocates who don’t know of Drucker or his work. For a start, Drucker developed and publicised the idea of the knowledge worker. And he promoted the idea of social responsibility in business. Join discussion...
