Open Sourcing the Flash Player is a contentious issue. In some corners, the lack of open source causes Flash to be anathema to the web. Others just have technical issues with the Flash Player and want a way to fix it. I go back and forth on "open source Flash", but I'm going blame it on lack of knowledge...

Not knowing too much about ACLU, as im from sydney australia, this article was an interesting read especially the comments. Apparently the ACLU, because of there stance on free speech, are forced to support the NAZI's and there right for voice. CORank what's your opinion of such things?

The deal represents the largest acquisition in Google's history and comes just six months after Google paid $1.65 billion to acquire video-sharing site YouTube. Terms of the deal call for Google to pay cash to DoubleClick investors.
What is microsoft doing? How the hell is microsoft suppose to compete in online advertising if it doesn't make purchases like this! This was a golden chance for them to make up ground on Google, it was only 3billion they can afford that!

"There are going to be a lot of sad children in Michigan today. In fact, the volume of tears may be so great as to make the lake rise. And they're all crying because the big mean lawmakers aren't going to give them iPods after all."
Truth is, when i first heard of the rumours of the free iPods it made me hot under the colar, why would any government body waste valuable public money like that!! I'm slightly relieved now, but i still want an enquiry and the politicians involved to be ousted!
