This boycott will do nothing but shift the date you purchase gas and not reduce the amount of gas you use. Instead of buying into the hype and forwarding the boycott email, reply-all to the email and remind everyone to drive less, check their tire pressure, slow down, etc., and then maybe we'll reduce demand for gas enough so that prices will drop Join discussion...

Thanks to the recent run-up in gas prices, our email accounts have become cluttered with chain emails asking us to boycott major gas stations on a certain date in the future in an attempt to "cripple" Big Oil.
