Foreclosed home listings in Milwaukee are expected to grow as foreclosure filings in Milwaukee County increased in June. Statewide, foreclosure filings also increased by 12 percent from May filings.

Under $300,000 Foreclosed Homes for Sales in Maryland Soared

In May this year, sales of foreclosed homes for sales and other pre-owned homes priced lower than $300,000 in Maryland jumped by 41 percent while sales of higher-priced homes fell by 26 percent. Financing and rates are two of the reasons for the drop in sales of higher-end homes.

Heat Exchangers Not Checked During Regular House Inspection

Furnace heat exchangers are not included among the items checked in a standard house inspection. The industry association claims that the exclusion is an effort to protect house inspectors from frivolous lawsuits, as the heat exchangers are not always accessible during inspection.
