#1 This is truly amazing stuff. Looks like people are working on these issues, even with their hands tied, and with no public acknowledgment. Hopefully we can capitalize on their success, and not throw it down the drain later on...

#2 They actually told me in college not to bother with Nuclear Engineering. Apparently Hollywood and the China Syndrome brought down the whole industry?!? Personally, I can't wait for personal home nuke units, using pebble bed reactors.

#1 Two very interesting points. One, that there are still Germans out there who have read history and decided to continue fighting WW2 against the U.S. and Russia. Two, that this kind of wishy washy rhetoric can still be used AFTER we were attacked is really quite incredible.

#5 You're missing one VERY important piece here. That is, out of all the choices you run through, you missed the obvious one. Stay in the country of origin and fight for a better life from your own government. Surely, if you are willing to commit crime simply out of desperation, you would be willing to lead a revolution (political or otherwise) in your own country? I suspect that since those who commit crime here do not do so indicates they are just that, criminals. We just happen to be a rich target.

#1 The Democrat positions are like the propaganda from 1984 or Animal Farm. They espouse one position one day, then switch to a different and opposing one the next, and deny ever having the original.
