I really think that the Periodic Table of the Internet is a very creative way to browse some of the most popular web sites out there on the net. Just like the real periodic table for the elements, this table lists a bunch of web sites grouped together with similar “properties”. Looks like Microsoft is entering the mobile search market to compete against rival Google with it’s recent acquisition of Tellme, a free 411-type of service to find local business listings, maps, directions, restaurant reviews, sports, weather, stock quotes, movie listings, travel info, news, etc either through text messaging or by voice recognition.
