Windows Vista is full of new features that hog up precious battery power far worse than XP ever did and trying to manually disable/enable these features is time-consuming and just plain annoying. Luckily, there is a program that’s just been released that can save up to 70% of your battery’s power by simply disabling a lot of those extra features! This is great for those who would want to write Word document while at a soccer game and don’t need the fancy Aero interface to type!

I’m a big Google fan and I love using their vast array of services such as GMail, Maps, Apps for Domain, Docs & Spreadsheets, etc, etc. There are way too many Google services that I use to mention all at once! Anyway, a lot of these services are beta or still fairly new, so it’s a lot of fun to know when there is a big update or feature addition.

If you’re like most people who want to keep their computer secure, then you have probably have an anti-virus software and an anti-spyware program installed on your system along with Windows Update turned to on for any critical updates to the operating system. Now all of those things are fine and essential for computer security, but even with all of that, one piece of the pie is still not protected and that is the software that is installed on your computer.
