Ever wonder how you could possibly record or rip a song that’s being streamed across the Internet onto your computer for free? Trying to download streaming audio directly to your computer can be quite difficult because different sites have different security measures put in place, so one program might work for one site, but not another.

A device driver is a piece of software that tells the operating system (Windows XP, Windows Vista, etc) how to communicate with a piece of hardware. For example, Windows XP is installed on different hardware depending on whether the computer is made by HP, Dell, Sony, etc and so in order for Windows to work with all of the hardware, it needs a piece of software that tells it what commands it can give and what kind of responses it will receive back.

How to burn, copy, and backup a CD, DVD, or HD DVD for free

As a technology enthusiast, I often get asked how can someone easily burn or copy CDs, DVDs, or HD DVD’s for free. Most people have heard of software like Roxio, Sonic, or Nero, but none of them are free and they are usually so bloated with extras that your computer actually starts to run a lot slower after you install them! Luckily, I spend lots of time trying to find free tools and utilities that do the same thing, but without all the crap.
