Depending on where you are at with CSS, these tricks may be eitehr really useful or basic stuff, but certainly you've got to know about most of them if you want to get somewhere designing stuff using CSS.

Fortunately I haven't used HJT very often but when I have, it certainly was the right tool for the job. Not for the average user though.

If they're proud to say they'll only retain data for up to 24 months, imagine how much they know about you right now :-) I'd make it 12 months unless required by law. Why 18-24 months? How can what I searched two years ago be helpful to improve "security and abuse" issues? Anyway, I shouldn't complain too much, it is at least a move in the right direction.

Let me add to this that we're considering a few ways to neutralize this issue, and some of them make sense to me. Just let me chew on it for a few days and I'll write a new blog post about the subject. I think in the end everything's going to work out just fine.

I believe that a great website is the one that adapts to how people use it, rather than dictating how it should be used. Having said that, I also believe it is good to have some guidelines.
Regarding this issue, my take is that while I vouch for the vote being a personal preference (vote + if you find it interesting, or - if you don't), I think the best thing is to let everyone use it however they want. I will be keeping an eye on usage patterns and will definitely act accordingly if I see a trend. Does this make sense?

Did you click on the link? There are pictures of it. Kind of gross if you ask me, but the site looks legitimate. Well, better get one there than in the forehead I guess.

Ok, I take note. Just let me write it down after a few other things that I believe are more "top priority", but I promise I'll revisit the way coRank implements captcha. For now, just allow me to disagree with you :-) I don't think it's that hard compared to other captchas out there.
Just FYI, only the 5 letters in black are valid. All others are shades of gray. Also, there's no disctintion between upper & lower case letters, and I also tried to avoid including conflicting letters/numbers, such as the letter B and the number 8.

Well of course, but that wasn't the case on Digg's day 1, was it? :-)
coRank is just a newborn. Don't expect it to have a PhD before it learns how to walk :-) The fact that one somehow needs to build a list of sources is a challenge for coRank but at the same time, I think it promotes that community aspect you flag as lacking. As for the users, yeah, at least for now coRank isn't about making your submission popular to millions but to get it to people who are more likely to be interested in it. But as I said, we're still learning how to walk.

The details, features, etc. aren't really that challenging. My biggest challenge creating coRank was actually to design the site so that it would scale. Of course I don't know yet whether I've done a good job or not, but keeping track of X's of individual front pages instead of just one is not as easy as it seems.

Interview Tip : Where do you see yourself five years from now?

My take is that the person being interviewed should always ask questions, and that this one (where do you see this team moving forward) is an excellent one. I don't think the employer should be annoyed. Usually if they're hiring for a particular department it means that department is "moving up" and they should be happy to respond. It shows you care, as opposed to the typical "do you like working here?" - what do you think the answer would be for that one? Of course they'll say they like it! :-)
