It’s a common device in books and articles today for the writer to tell you everything you know about ‘blank’ is wrong (or simply, everything you know is wrong, period). To some extent these are just handy devices, but mainly these writings are impactful because they’re true. There is no shortage of disinformation out there, but what’s harder to overcome are years of believing something false to be true. We humans are creatures of habit, and change can be threatening. Nevertheless, we think it’s time employers and employees stopped placing so much emphasis on these 10 job qualifications that you either need much less of or can do without altogether.

Carey School of Business, and chairman of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).Penley has spent time within the walls of Thunderbird prior to the new positions. As the term Open Educational Resources (OER) celebrates its 10th birthday, and the open licensing community prepares to mark the 10 year anniversary of the issuing of the first open license, a recent report from the Babson Survey Research Group shows that OER still has a long way to go.The survey found that nearly half of chief academic officers at universities were somewhat to not aware of OER. Part of the difficulty in raising awareness stems from confusion about what exactly constitutes OER. At its broadest, OER is something that is freely accessible, openly formatted, openly licensed, and is designed to be used in education.
