31 months, 4 days, 11 hours agoVoronin came to absolute power in 2001 having extensively used the nostalgia feelings of the Moldovan population about “good old times” with cheap bread and sausage, free transportation, education and health care, with calls for Russian language to become the second official language and for joining the Russia-Byelorussia union.
