40 months, 1 week, 4 days, 18 hours agoJoy Division, the post-punk group from Manchester shaped a pioneer sound and style in the post-punk movement of the late 70s. Being mainly an ambient group and not directly punk, Joy Division used the simplicity of punk to invigorate their sounds and they got inspired from the energy of the punk music.
