Known for its “pear-shaped” volcanic island, Camiguin is dubbed as “Born of Fire” because of its seven volcanoes unmatched anywhere else in Southeast Asia. One of its volcanoes is the unpredictably active Mt. Hibok-hibok which erupted in 1951.
