Algeria, China teamed on nuke
http://washingtontimes.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/200709...
One of those "why am I hearing this for the first time?" stories. Apparently the Algerians are already light years ahead of Iran, Libya, Syria (way ahead of Syria, after Israel's recent foray), and other "rogue-ish" nations. And almost all of this is thanks to China. The nuclear genie is way out of the bag; we're not trying to CON-tain it anymore, but rather RE-tain it from getting into some of the above mentioned sensitive countries.
And another thing: Thank goodness the first Bush administration isn't around anymore (though I may still wish for them if other certain groups get elected). The length to which they went to appease China is astounding. By my count of the top of my head, we have now sacrificed Sudanese Christians, the Algerian Nuclear program, a P3 Spy plane, and nuclear weapon technology, to avoid offending the Chinese. For what exactly? Bad dog food?

Cyber Terrorism Threat
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/technology/te...
Threat of Cyber Terrorism, and potential impact on a nation, as informed by the recent situation in Estonia. Implies the question, is a Cyber Attack by a nation the same as a conventional attack? What if the attack was done without the knowledge or approval of the host nation?
I also ask the question, what would be the difference of an individual making a massive cyber attack, and an individual using a weapon of mass destruction?

I love 24, but Jack Bauer hasn’t slept or eaten in 1274 hours. Whats up with that?
http://articles.superfreelancersonline.com/article20.html
I love the television show 24, I watch it every Monday, its like the superbowl for me. I don’t care if a tornado coming, I’m watching 24. I am addicted to the point of being ridiculous. Every person I know knows that I am not coming to the phone, door, gathering or rescue, at least not until the show goes off.
