At a University of British Columbia party hosted by the Beta fraternity 11 women were drugged. A Beta Theta Pi Fraternity held on September 21st lead to these women being drugged. One of the ladies who was drugged has now started a Facebook group to help find the culprit.

However, a new trend has emerged recently where female patients who were admitted to hospitals were raped, and even nurses were raped. A girl was recently gangraped while under sedation. Ritcheson, a Mexican-American, was beaten and sodomized with a patio umbrella pole. He also was stomped and burned with cigarettes, and his attackers poured bleach on him before leaving him for dead. He was hospitalized for more than three months and endured 20 to 30 operations.
