Thanks to the recent run-up in gas prices, our email accounts have become cluttered with chain emails asking us to boycott major gas stations on a certain date in the future in an attempt to "cripple" Big Oil. DOE Says Summer Gas Will Average $2.81 - Currently Gas is $2.82.

The Department of Energy released a statement saying it believes the national average gas price this summer will be $2.81, roughly 3 cents lower than last summer. The problem?
