Why you should study to be an engineer?

Before, every time I heard the word "engineer", the first thing that comes on my mind is someone who is knowledgeable in Mathematics. But now, I realized it was more than that for I am indeed an engineer. Engineering as defined in Wikipedia is the discipline and profession of applying technical and scientific knowledge and utilizing natural laws and physical resources in order to design and implement materials, structures, machines, devices, systems, and processes that safely realize a desired objective and meet specified criteria. It is a course most commonly acquired by men than by women. And it is considered as one of the oldest profession even during the times of early man on earth.
