Strontium is an alkaline earth metal using a chemical symbol Sr, with atomic number of 38, atomic weight of 87.62 and atomic volume of 33.7 cc/mole. It can be described as a soft silver-white but it turns yellow when exposed to air making it a yellowish metallic element that is highly reactive chemically. Known to be a malleable metal, it was observed to have a melting point of 10420K and boiling point of 16570K. READ MORE AT http://www.helium.com/items/1354959 Join discussion...

http://www.helium.com/items/1354952-chemical-element-rutheni...
A chemical element that is considered rare transition metal, very hard and brittle. It is silver gray in color and one of the platinum metals from group eight of the periodic table of element together with rhodium, palladium, osmium, iridium, and platinum. It is used as hardener in alloys of platinum and palladium that even only small amounts of it can increase the hardness of platinum and palladium. The corrosion resistance of titanium is increased markedly by the addition of a small amount of ruthenium. READ MORE AT http://www.helium.com/items/1354952 Join discussion...

An overview about the chemical element Rubidium
1 / 0
http://www.helium.com/items/1352179-chemical-element-rubidiu...
If we take a look at the periodic table of elements, Rubidium is a chemical element with the symbol Rb and atomic weight of 37. Its name was derived from the word "rubidus" which means deepest red. Although it is described as a soft, silvery-white metal, it gives a reddish-violet color to a flame, hence its name. It was recorded to have a melting point of 390C or equivalent to 1020F and a boiling point of 6880C or equivalent to 1,2700F. Read details at http://www.helium.com/items/1352179 Join discussion...
