How To Blog For Business
1 / 0
http://didyousmellthat.com/web/how-to-blog-for-business/
You must blog consistently if your business is to be successful. Are you resisting this? Let's see if we can raise your belief in the power of blogging and as a result inspire you to commit to it consistently. Only a few short years ago there was a constant "mantra" that stated, "If you don't have a website, you are not in business." Those who shrugged their shoulders at this notion are asking people "would you like fries with that?" today. Think about it. When you meet an entrepreneur promoting his wares what is one of the first questions you ask? "Do you have a website I can check out?" Join discussion...

Testing Azoogle Vs. Google
2 / 0
http://didyousmellthat.com/cashflow/testing-azoogle-vs-googl...
Azoogle has a CPA offer called Blogging For Dollars that teaches people who want to get paid to blog how to be professional bloggers. They have a free trial and their landing page and lead capture system is pretty slick. Unfortunately the offer is only for Americans. The link gives a regional alternative for those of use outside the USA. This is a working example of a CPA trial offer. I don t make a cent on the click like I would with Adsense. The test is to see if the conversion on the backend is more profitable than the 3.7 cents I average with Google. With every passing day I m becoming more and more convinced that niche blogging is the smartest way to get into niche marketing. You create an asset with high visitor value, repeat visits, high search engine rankings, and very topical content. I m going to be exploring this as a major tool for people to work from home online in the weeks ahead. Join discussion...

One of the cool things about blogging is meeting new people. A few weeks ago I ran a contest to nominate the Top 10 Young Hot Money-Making Blogs. One of the top 10 was Alex from HowtoSpoter. He just created a very interesting promotional tool called a Blog Reciprocal Review Carousel. If you have your own blog, pay attention. If you don t have your own blog, scream the word quot;WHY? quot; as loud as you can…common, I double dare you! Now go sign up for my free internet marketing training program and get marketing into the 21st century. Join discussion...

Young, Hot Money-Making Blogs Contest
4 / 0
http://didyousmellthat.com/main/young-hot-money-making-blogs...
I'm working on a list of Young, Hot Money Making Blogs. If you have a brand new blog that started April 1st 2007 or later, and it helps people make money online, then I want to hear about it. And so does the world! If you have a Young, Hot Money Making Blog (am I saying that too much, hello keyword density filter?) leave me a comment with your name, blog url, and what makes it hot. I'm compiling a cool resource list to publish next week. This is your chance to get some viral link love for your young blog. If you know someone that should be on this list, go to their blog and get their attention. Tell them to get over here and wave their self-promotion flag. Join discussion...

My new blog buddy Jason at JaKelDaily gave me the heads up that I've been nominated as one of the Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs for 2007. I'm not working on my acceptance speech just yet. First I have to give credit to Janette Toral over at DigitalFilipino for posting this innovative concept and nominate my competition. Join discussion...

Fixing My Mess After I Screwed It Up
1 / 0
http://didyousmellthat.com/main/fixing-my-mess-after-i-screw...
"Honey, I broke the blog!" In the first 4 hours I had 109 subscribers to this blog via the aweber optin box in the top right corner. Aweber has this nifty program now to email blog subscribers anytime its updated. I dropped in one of their stock templates and forgot to modify it. My apologies to my readers if they got a grotesque brown html email filled with latin gibberish. I goofed. This is why my staff never let me touch webpages…we have a zero tolerance policy for any management to ever modify anything that a technology ace could do. But this is my blog so I get to mess it up. Now when someone subscribes in the top right corner they get a plain text email which is easier on the eyes and on the browser. Have you ever messed up one of your websites? Share your shame publicly, leave me a comment below! The best self-inflicted website disaster story will get an "honorable mention" next week in one of my posts! Join discussion...

A Cool Blog I Found By Link Surfing
1 / 0
http://didyousmellthat.com/main/a-cool-blog-i-found-by-link-...
One of the interesting things about blogging is the crazy linking. I recently was reading John Chow's Evil Blog (if you haven't heard about Chow, you will, he's a bloggin genius!) and there was a site review he did for Brian Free's blog. I read Brian's review of John's blog and noticed a link in the comments for Jason Neuman's blog. With me so far? I surfed Jason's blog for some time and decided to write a blog review for him. One of the first things I noticed is he has a Pagerank 5 with Google and a 156,932 rank with Alexa. This means his site is out there, it's got lots of real organic links, real content and real humans with eyeballs are checking him out. I checked his back links with Marketleap and was astounded to find he's got 2,220 Google back links and over 10,150 Yahoo back links! He has been busy promoting, that's for sure. Join discussion...
