Why Are We So Loyal?
1 / 0
http://www.dawningvalley.com/2008/06/why-are-we-so-loyal/
Mac fan(atic)s get slammed all the time for their nigh-unwavering devotion to Apple and Steve Jobs. Many of them even embrace (more or less jokingly) the accusations they receive of treating Steve Jobs as a deity. I could go into all of the reasons for this, but I am afraid that I would quickly start rationalizing and becoming defensive, as I have been accused of being a “Mac Fanboy” myself. Join discussion...

How to Use Speech Recognition in OS X

http://www.dawningvalley.com/2008/06/how-to-use-speech-recog...
Last month, I discussed how I use speech recognition in OS X to make using my Mac a little easier to use and more enjoyable. I use speech recognition to do relatively simple tasks, such as opening new email, replying to emails, sending new messages, opening chats with people in my Address Book, creating new iCal events, switching between applications, moving up and down pages in Safari, moving back and forward in Safari, and even opening websites. Installing Apple's Safari Browser On Ubuntu 7.10 With PlayOnLinux
27 / 3
http://www.howtoforge.com/installing-safari-on-ubuntu7.10-wi...
This guide explains how you can install Apple's Safari browser on Ubuntu 7.10. As there is no Linux version of Safari, we will run it under Wine. We will use a tool called PlayOnLinux to install Safari under Wine. With PlayOnLinux you can install lots of Windows games and some Windows applications (such as Office 2003, IE6, MS Money, etc.) on Linux. Installing Safari on Linux is good for people such as web designers who have switched to Linux but still need to test their web sites in other browsers. Join discussion...
