Submitted by sarahmartin 18 months, 2 weeks, 5 days, 3 hours ago I know that I've made a lot of noise about how high speed rail is falling apart (and getting replaced by out-of-control high-speed buses), thanks to some newly elected governors who are shutting down the projects in their states. But rail is indeed still (slowly) coming to the US. Transportation Secretary Roy LaHood announced the latest updates to the plan today, and here's what they look like.
