15 months, 1 day, 7 hours agoIn Prince William Country, Virginia, illegal aliens have just basically declared war on the county, law and order, and the very livelihood of innocent Americans. They have done so, and no one in Washington really seems to care.

There is certainly a seed of truth in all of that, but I would like to ask a question: well, how should then be a slaughter of thousands of innocent native Americans during the colonization should be considered? We also came not from these places, and acted like savages...Of course the time was different we were less civilized, well these illegal immigrants are just like that....US gets what it has planted....

Let me see if I understand you. Illegal aliens, Mexicans in this case, coming into Prince William Country, Virginia and deciding that they will ignore the laws of the community is analogous to the Pilgrims landing at Plymouth and establishing a settlement - because they didn't get permission from the Indian community? Actually there was no one to get permission in that case - smallpox. There certainly was a clash of cultures - a stronger one against a weaker one in many senses as it turned out. Perhaps the illegal aliens in this case will prevail in this case because they're stronger than the USA? Or more determined? Or more numerous? Or perhaps In Prince William Country, the authorities will decide to enforce the the law. No one has decided to use the full force of the might of America against these people because America is a moral nation and tempers its ability to use force with the appropriateness in the situation. And the residents of Prince William County have not responded in kind, e.g. in lawless violent retaliation. The illegal aliens in this case are able to get away with outrageous behavior because they're dealing with some very civilized people. They should hope it stays that way.

I'm just saying that Americans always tend to see everybody else around guilty, but ourselves.....We did the same years ago, maybe we should be tolerant to their behaviour, but we have to understand their motives..OF course maybe a lot of them are criminals, or maybe a lot of them commit crime, because they do not have a choice...cos' they were searching for a better life, but they can't get a good job here, cos' illegal immigrants are only up for cleaning restrooms and wash dishes...Imagine, you grow up, finish school in strugle to get a better life, but your county and it's government can not provide you with all you wanted...you are too ambitious. You go to US, but you can not find anything better than washing dishes, or anything at all..What is left? Crime...Do you think they came here just to be thieves and murderers? Wouldn't you be scared to commit crime in one of the most legally strong countries knowing the fact that you are practically nobody here? I think not....only dificult conditions and stuggle for survival will push you to that. I'm not saying they are all so good and fluffy. I'm just saying that if a person comes to your bar or a restaurant and he looks like an immigrant, illegal, you shouldn't right away call 911 and scream that it's a robbery!!!

You're missing one VERY important piece here. That is, out of all the choices you run through, you missed the obvious one. Stay in the country of origin and fight for a better life from your own government. Surely, if you are willing to commit crime simply out of desperation, you would be willing to lead a revolution (political or otherwise) in your own country? I suspect that since those who commit crime here do not do so indicates they are just that, criminals. We just happen to be a rich target.

I'm not sure what sort of Americans you're familiar with, or perhaps you're only referring to theoretical Americans. The real Americans I know are not worried about where the illegal aliens come from, it's the illegal part that bothers them. To summarize: Legal immigration good! Illegal immigration bad!

Well, anyway...Thanks for some nice points of view....It's been great to have a conversation with you....No offence..I really respect your opinion, but we are grown up people and I think non of yours or mine thoughts or ideas or even facts will affect the opposite side...We will still move on having the same subjective view of the issue....But as the Greeks were saying: "A good argument is the father of the Truth!!!":)
