Whatever happened to D? And why do a lot of them just stop? I still use Ruby.

O'Reilly's list of computer languages has not been updated in a long time.
Eric Levenez's are updated regularly, but his Programming Languages list is not exhaustive.
Always look at the fine print below the lists. :)
