Darkness is not all bad news. Indeed, some experts say many of us fail to get the amount of exposure to darkness we need to maintain health.Over-reliance on artificial lighting at home and in the office can have negative effects on the body and mind. According to sleep consultant Dr Neil Stanley, we have an innate need for daily darkness.
