Web2.0 is going to last for some more decades, and its not possible to witness the end soon. Web2.0 facilitates several platforms packed together, make life easy with powerful social & multimedia features, cope with numerous people.

It's funny. You see lots of talk now about Web 3.0, but really we're still seeing user generated content sites and that's squarely in the Web 2.0 world.
