12 months, 5 days agoLabeling a language "difficult" carries with it both a high degree of subjectivity as well as some rather unfortunate implications regarding cultural relativity and suppression. In truth, everything hinges on how much time and effort a student puts into her or his language acquisition — not to mention the relation (or, as it were, lack thereof) between their mother tongue and the newcomer in many cases. They’re all equally hard if slacking is the name of the game and equally easy if one possesses enough tenacity, so try not to take this list as anything even one iota formal or definitive.
