This article from Hacked Gadgets (though this is a hacked pigeon brain) describes how scientists from China have managed to implant micro electrodes into the brains of pigeons which allows them to “steer” the bird up or down and left or right! Apparently, the scientists send signals to the implants from a computer and the bird is forced to follow the commands.
