This guide describes how you can use the CD/DVD burning application K3b to convert songs from an audio CD into MP3 or Ogg files that you can use on your MP3 player, for example (if you choose the Ogg format, your MP3 player must support it).

This is a great guide, but you need to have mp3 support (LAME) installed to convert it to mp3. Does PCLinuxOS have this already installed? I know many distros don't because of licensing.

Maybe a guide on how to install MP3 on linux would be helpful for us falko.
