63 months, 1 week, 6 days, 14 hours agoJust up the story if you agree. There is too little distinction between the letters you need and the background ones. They should really use the picture verification, it is easier for humans and by far harder for computers.

Ok, I take note. Just let me write it down after a few other things that I believe are more "top priority", but I promise I'll revisit the way coRank implements captcha. For now, just allow me to disagree with you :-) I don't think it's that hard compared to other captchas out there.
Just FYI, only the 5 letters in black are valid. All others are shades of gray. Also, there's no disctintion between upper & lower case letters, and I also tried to avoid including conflicting letters/numbers, such as the letter B and the number 8. #2 - By shinynew, 63 months, 13 days, 8 hours ago.
that is all well and good, but as i stated a visual one would work much better. (i.e. click on the three cats, or click on the man made structures.)
