About 13.5 million kids ages 13 to 17 own a cell phone, according to M:Metrics, and text messaging -- using abbreviated sentences punched in from the keypad that appear on the cell phone screen -- is wildly popular. Billing disputes over premium text services have spawned several class-action lawsuits.

Its only going to get worse. We arent seeing spam on text messages, lets hope we don't because each would be charged to the reciver, but not the sender.
