Everyone: World - Upcoming
Can super heros really teach us something about saving the world?
http://www.articleblast.com/Writing/General/New_Super_Heroes...
Our super heroes seem to be confused. Are they the victim of the politically correct, postmodern ideology that pervades Hollywood? Gone is the 'save the world' ideal, to it being more about the thrill of the adventure, intense action and hi-tech gizmos. The lines between good and evil are blurred. For the old super hero, the one all kids loved to dream about, there was no dilemma and their goal was clear - save the world. Jumping tall buildings, stopping a freight train or blowing up the death star, were all feats that left you in awe. They had super powers used, not for their own gain but to save the world.

10 St. Patrick’s Day Toasts You Don’t Want To Hear
http://www.bestonlinecolleges.com/blog/2012/10-st-patricks-d...
Top o' the mornin' to ya! St. Patrick's Day comes but once a year, and it's time to bust out your best Irish toasts. But, pause for a moment, party people. Make sure you're augmenting your fun times, not detracting from them with crappy speeches of dubious worth. Just because it's St. Patrick's Day, and Saturday night, and you're drunk, it doesn't mean that you've got any oratorial talent. Remember these overdone toasts before volunteering to speak, and you'll spare yourself (and everyone else) the grief of the Irish.

7 Campaigns You Should Donate To Instead Of Kony 2012
http://www.onlinecertificateprograms.org/blog/2012/7-campaig...
Invisible Children, creators of the widely shared and now widely critiqued Kony 2012 video, are accepting donations for their organization through their viral Kony 2012 campaign. They are careful to promise nothing more than to continue bringing attention to Uganda's Lord's Resistance Army leader Joseph Kony, who over the past couple of decades kidnapped and forced tens of thousands of children into becoming soldiers or sex slaves. Unfortunately, Invisible Children's messaging is seen by many as self-serving, patronizing, insulting, or at the very least, woefully naïve. There is more scrutiny and criticism of foreign aid today than ever before, and humanitarian organizations are adjusting accordingly. But if foreign aid isn't working and campaigns like #StopKony are misguided, where do you go if you genuinely want to help make the world a better place? Consider the seven campaigns below, each benefiting a variety of locales and issues throughout Africa.

The 8 Best Musician Autobiographies of All Time
http://www.toponlinecolleges.com/blog/2012/the-8-best-musici...
The life story of a musician is best told by the musicians themselves in the first person. That doesn't mean their story will be accurate, unbiased, or humble, but nine times out of 10 it will be pretty entertaining. Biographers are prone to spin a musician's story for the sake of sensationalism and book sales, so that it reads more like the script for a Lifetime movie than a historical record of a creative individual. Here are eight autobiographies by musicians each with their own unique perspective on their life and their place in the history of music.

The 9 Most Publicized Firings in Corporate History
http://www.onlinemba.com/blog/the-9-most-publicized-firings-...
Whose idea was it to associate something as sweet and nice as the color pink with something as nasty as firing people? Nobody enjoys getting that salmon-colored slip, but having the entire world know you’ve been canned adds another layer of misery to the experience. In the days before Twitter and the Internet, it was easier to quietly fade into the corporate mist after being axed. But for these eight people (and one company), being fired was a public affair.
