Here is how UPEI's president justified his decision to ban the cartoon issue of the newspaper: university president Wade MacLaughlan says publishing the cartoons is "an invitation to trouble. "We still run the property," MacLaughlan says, "and we're not in the business of deliberately inviting people to be insulted to the point of causing an outrage."

Amazon's persists on suiing independent developer of statsaholic

Alexa is suing Ron Hornbaker, the independent developer of Statsaholic, a popular service that allowed you to compare different sites based on their Alexa rankings. Damages may amount to hundreds of thousands of dollars, essentially “suing him into oblivion”, according to ZDNet. We think the lawsuit is ridiculous and could be settled without going to court. There many ways to demonstrate. A mass jam session is surely a unique way. I attended such a demonstration on today’s sunny afternoon in Tel Aviv.
Hundreds of women are held against their will in central cities in Israel, and “employed” as prostitutes. The authorities know where they are, and don’t act to release them. The media usually ignores these cases.

The RIAA and MPAA are lobbying once again against an anti-pretexting law in California that would make it illegal for anyone to lie in order to gain access to someone else's personal information. Not knowing too much about ACLU, as im from sydney australia, this article was an interesting read especially the comments. Apparently the ACLU, because of there stance on free speech, are forced to support the NAZI's and there right for voice. CORank what's your opinion of such things?
