Algeria, China teamed on nuke

One of those "why am I hearing this for the first time?" stories. Apparently the Algerians are already light years ahead of Iran, Libya, Syria (way ahead of Syria, after Israel's recent foray), and other "rogue-ish" nations. And almost all of this is thanks to China. The nuclear genie is way out of the bag; we're not trying to CON-tain it anymore, but rather RE-tain it from getting into some of the above mentioned sensitive countries.
And another thing: Thank goodness the first Bush administration isn't around anymore (though I may still wish for them if other certain groups get elected). The length to which they went to appease China is astounding. By my count of the top of my head, we have now sacrificed Sudanese Christians, the Algerian Nuclear program, a P3 Spy plane, and nuclear weapon technology, to avoid offending the Chinese. For what exactly? Bad dog food?

Please take some time to listen to what he has to say, this man has been studying the subject for the past 10 years and knows quite a bit about the issue that is climate change. There is a lot of talk these days about how to handle such a immense issue, well have a listen because this guy actually has the answers...

Sometimes the simplest solutions are the best... This video breaks down the monumental problem of climate change into three easy answers. Sure, I am sure all you nah-sayers will be up in arms saying things are much more complicated then that, but they're really not. We have to start somewhere, and what better place to look to for inspiration then our children?

The city of Lachish, located in the maritime lowlands of Judea, is first mentioned in the Bible during Joshua’s conquest. After the Gibeonites deceptively made a covenant with Joshua, many of the Canaanite kings were alarmed that they might be conquered with Gibeonite assistance, and therefore set out to fight the Gibeonites. Joshua took over all of these rebellious cities, and Lachish, being one of them, was later part of the territory assigned to the tribe of Judah.

UPEI Cadre defies student union, publishes budget

The Cadre was hand delivered to students on campus, to keep the paper from being seized by the union. Last year, the union did seize copies of a controversial issue of the Cadre.
Student union president Ryan Gallant told CBC News the working budget isn't released because the numbers aren't finalized and could be misinterpreted by students.
